Akuntabel.id, WONOGIRI – Pasca kejadian penyelundupan sabu lontong di Lapas Kelas llB Wonogiri beberapa waktu lalu, kini pengamanan lapas diperketat.
Kepala Lapas Kelas II B Wonogiri, Heri mengatakan, memperketat pengamanan Lapas ini merupakan instruksi dari pimpinan yakni membuat langkah-langkah internal. Seperti saat ini, pihaknya sudah membuat kebijakan bahwa seluruh barang yang masuk ke Lapas harus dilaporkan ke grup WhatsApp khusus. Dengan begitu petugas bisa lebih mudah menonitor barang yang masuk ke dalam.
“Kita akan bekerja sama dengan koperasi Lapas untuk meminimalkan barang masuk ke dalam Lapas,” katanya, Selasa (1/2/2022).
Selain itu, pihaknya juga akan mempersiapkan aplikasi. Apabila keluarga atau rekan warga binaan akan mengirimkan makanan, tinggal memesan lewat aplikasi tersebut.
“Dengan begitu, keluarga tidak perlu datang mengirimkan secara langsung, bisa lebih aman. Saat ini kita dalami, cari aplikasi yang baik,” terangnya.
Dia menambahkan, pemeriksaan atau penggeledahan di dalam Lapas juga sudah dilakukan. Hal tersebut sudah rutin dilakukan oleh pihaknya untuk mengantisipasi modus penyelundupan barang terlarang.
Sebagai informasi, sabu tersebut dikirim dengan cara dibungkus bersama sate lontong untuk mengelabuhi petugas. Namun usaha penyelundupan itu bisa diendus petugas sehingga gagal.
