Akuntabel.id, SOLO – Putra bungsu Presiden Jokowi, Kaesang Pangarep secara terang-terangan maju dalam pemilihan wali kota (pilwalkot) Depok 2024 mendatang. Kakak sekaligus Wali Kota Soll Gibran Rakabuming Raka turut berkomentar.
Terkait dengan video yang beredar atas pernyataan Kaesang langsung yang maju di Pilwalkot Depok, Gibran meminta tanyakan langsung ke yang bersangkutan.
“Takoko Kaesang, lha wonge neng kene ora mbok takoni,” ucap Gibran saat ditemui di Loji Gandrung, Senin (12/6/2023).
Gibran pun menyerahkan sepenuhnya kepada Kaesang terkait pilihannya terjun ke dunia politik, termasuk pilihannya maju dalam pemilihan kepala daerah (pilkada). Bahkan saat ditanya apakah mendukung Kaesang berpolitik dan maju Pilwalkot Depok, Gibran pun menyerahkan keputusannya ke adiknya.
“Terserah Kaesang, monggo ya. (Kalau berpolitik, cocok tidak), terserah Kaesang,” katanya.
Gibran mengaku belum ketemu sama Kaesang untuk pembahasan terkait pilihannya maju di Pilwalkot Depok. Padahal sebelumnya sempat beredar akan maju di Pilwalkot Solo atau Pilwalkot Sleman.
“Ora, kemarin aku ora ketemu, aku baru saja datang dan ke kantor. Ora sempat ketemu sopo-sopo, ketemu Kaesang dan lain-lain,” ungkapnya.
Gibran sendiri bukan tidak merestui langkah politik sang adik maju di Pilwalkot Depok. Sebab idealnya yang merestui itu bukan dirinya melainkan warga.
“Idealnya itu yang merestui bukan saja tapi warganya. Yang namanya restu itu dari warga setempat,” ujarnya.
Gibran pun mempersilahkan Kaesang mau masuk ke partai. Bahkan tidak menyuruh harus ke sana atau ke sini.
“(Disuruh masuk PDIP nggak), saya tidak pernah nyuruh-nyuruh, nyuruh ke sana, nyuruh ke sini. Takok o Kaesang, takok o juga kenapa kemarin ketemu sama Mas Giring,” tandasnya.
