Akuntabel.id, SOLO – Band metal asal Amerika Serikat, Dream Theater akan menggelar konser di Kota Solo. Sedianya, Dream Theater akan perform pada tanggal 10 Agustus 2022 mendatang di Parkir Area A & B Stadion Manahan Solo.
Walikota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka, menyambut baik konser Dream Theater di Kota Solo.
“Event ini sebagai obat kangen pecinta musik keras. Kemarin ada Rock in Solo, tapi masih ada pandemi, ada batasan. Tapi saya pesen konser ini tetap memperhatikan protkes,” ucapnya.
Dalam konser tersebut, Gibran ingin mendengarkan dua lagu Dream Theater, yakni The Alien dan Pull Me Under.
“Dream Theater kan lagu wajibnya yang Pull Me Under, dan yang kemarin meraih Grammy, The Alien,” katanya.
Selain itu, dalam konser tersebut Gibran juga ingin adanya band lokal dengan aliran music sejenis sebagai band pembuka. Namun keinginan Gibran untuk menampilkan band lokal sebagai pembuka sepertinya sukar terwujud.
Sementara itu, CEO Rajawali Indonesia Communication Anas Syahrul mengatakan, Dream Theater akan perform selama dua jam.
“Nanti kita akan rayu, supaya mereka membawakan lagu karya lokal,” katanya.
Sebab, pada konser Dream Theater tahun 2017 lalu di Yogyakarta, grub metal asal Amerika Serikat itu membawakan lagu Gundul-gundul Pacul. Kendati demikian, dia belum bisa memastikan berapa jumlah lagu, dan apa saja lagu yang akan dibawakan Dream Theater saat konser di Solo.
“Biasanya dua minggu sebelum konser, mereka akan kirim setlistnya. Tapi bocorannya, selain lagu dari album baru, dan lagu yang menang di Grammy, akan membawakam beberapa lagu hit mereka,” terangnya.
Dia menyebut, penjualan tiket akan dimulai pada 1 Juli 2022 mendatang. Pembelian tiket dilakukan secara online melalui tiketapasaja.com. namun jika masih ada sisa maka akan dijual secara on the spot.
“Kuota tiket yang kita rilis sebanyak tujuh ribu tiket. Karena kemarin ada tiga ribu yang tidak melakukan rivan,” ujarnya.
Harga tiketnya sendiri dibagi menjadi empat kategori, Festival A harga Rp1.000.000, Festival B harga Rp750.000, Festival A On The Spot harga Rp1.500.000 dan Festival B On The Spot harga Rp1.000.000.
