Sukoharjo – Akibat dampak limbah PT Rayon Utama Makmur (PT RUM), Warga Masyarakat Kecamatan Nguter melaksanakan audiensi di Kantor DPRD Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Kamis (12/05/2022). Sebanyak sekitar 40 warga yang akan berangkat berkumpul disalah satu warung makan yang berada di Desa Gupit Kecamatan Nguter.
Dalam pemberangkatan ini, warga menyiapkan transportasi berupa kereta kelinci, beberapa sepeda motor dan ambulance.
Kapolsek Nguter AKP Maryana mewakili Kapolres Sukoharjo AKBP Wahyu Nugroho Setyawan mengatakan sebelumnya pihaknya sudah mengimbau kepada warga dalam pemberangkatan ke kantor DPRD agar tidak menggunakan kereta kelinci demi keselamatan.
“Kami sudah imbau agar tidak menggunakan kereta kelinci, dan kami juga sudah menyiapkan 1 armada truk dari polres untuk memfasilitasi warga yang akan berangkat ke DPRD,” Jelas AKP Maryana.
Lebih lanjut, AKP Maryana menambahkan dalam pelaksanaan audiensi ke kantor DPRD akan mengawal peserta dengan humanis, sehingga apa yang disampaikan warga kepada pimpinan DPRD bisa tersampaikan.
“Selama kegiatan Pemberangkatan warga masyarakat terdampak Limbah PT. RUM , kegiatan berlangsung aman dan kondusif, ” pungkasnya.
