Akuntabel.id, SEMARANG – Media sosial sempat diramaikan dengan beredarnya foto surat konfirmasi tilang ETLE dari Polres Sukoharjo. Dimana seorang pengendara motor tanpa helm nampak melintas di jalan pedesaan. Seolah pengguna motor tersebut adalah petani sehingga menimbulkan berbagai komentar dari netizen.
Kabidhumas Polda Jateng, Kombes Pol M Iqbal Alqudusy menyampaikan, terima kasih atas masukan dari netizen di medos. Namun perlu dijelaskan, kejadian tersebut tidak seperti narasi di media sosial yang menyebut pemotor ditilang di pesawahan. Sebab pemotor itu kena ETLE karena melintas di jalan penghubung kabupaten.
“Pengendara motor tersebut bukan petani yang hendak meladang, dan yang bersangkutan sudah mengakui kesalahannya. Bapak tersebut langsung menghubungi satlantas dan membayar denda melalui Briva,” kata Kombes Iqbal, Kamis (23/6/2022).
Penindakan ETLE oleh Polri, betul-betul dilaksanakan dengan mengutamakan kepentingan warga dan bertujuan utama untuk mengedukasi agar masyarakat.
“Masyarakat diharapkan taat pada aturan dan memperhatikan aspek-aspek keselamatan dalam berkendara. Karena aturan lalu lintas dibuat untuk kepentingan pengguna jalan juga,” pinta Iqbal.
Selain itu, masyarakat juga diminta tidak menganggap situasi di jalan pedesaan aman dari kecelakaan lalu lintas, sehingga tidak menggunakan kelengkapan yang disyaratkan sesuai standard berkendara. Di wilayah Sukoharjo, Iqbal menerangkan bahwa jalan-jalan penghubung antar kecamatan mayoritas adalah wilayah pedesaan sehingga cukup banyak pengendara yang melintas.
“Di Kabupaten Sukoharjo kejadian laka lantas di persawahan cukup tinggi. Sepanjang tahun 2021 jumlah kecelakaan ada 21 kejadian, 6 diantaranya mengakibatkan meninggal dunia. Sedangkan pada Januari hingga Mei 2022, kejadian laka lantas di Sukoharjo ada 10 kejadian. Untuk tingkat fatalitasnya, 2 luka ringan, 5 luka berat dan 3 meninggal dunia,” jelasnya.
Adapun penerapan ETLE mobile di Jateng, lanjutnya, memang dapat dilakukan petugas melalui hp khusus sehingga dapat memotret pengendara kendaraan bermotor yang melakukan pelanggaran di jalan.
“Hal yang perlu dicatat, operator ETLE mobile adalah petugas khusus yang mendapat surat perintah. Jadi tidak setiap polantas dapat menjadi operator ETLE mobile. Minimal petugas yang berkualifikasi penyidik atau penyidik pembantu,” terangnya.
Atasnya ramainya tanggapan di media sosial soal penindakan ETLE, Iqbal meminta maaf kepada warga yang melintas di jalan penghubung antar kecamatan tersebut. Pihaknya juga memohon maaf manakala dalam penindakan hukum di lapangan membuat rasa tidak nyaman sebagian masyarakat.
“Intinya penerapan ETLE adalah mengurangi kontak langsung petugas dengan pelanggar lalu lintas di jalan sehingga penindakan dilakukan secara profesional dan didukung data akurat berdasarkan teknologi. Polda Jateng juga menghimbau warga untuk tetap mengutamakan keselamatan berkendara dan mentaati aturan yang berlaku. Sebagai petugas, keselamatan pengguna jalan menjadi prioritas utama kami.
